The puppies will spend three months at the Parkinson’s Training Academy, sponsored by the Michael J Fox Foundation, where they will train to become Parkinson's sniffer dogs to aid in early diagnosis.
When the training is completed, the class of ’22 will graduate at a special ceremony at international dog show Crufts.
It is there they will be awarded their qualification as a professional Parkinson's sniffer dog.
As well as a Parkinson’s puppy badge to show the world their status, and alert the public to their skills.
During the ceremony itself, the graduates will be put straight to work. Screening the 166,500 visitors that will attend and diagnosing people in the process.
